This model was made to support an entry to a Ministry of Education initiative for the design of 'flat pack' transportable classrooms. The classrooms were to be able to be taken onto a school site by truck, unloaded and built up in 24 hours.
This example, although a finalist, was not the one chosen by the Ministry but it was an innovative concept and would,have worked successfully. Two models were made: one to illustrate how the building was able to be built up and taken down easily, and the other showing how a final classroom would look.
