Scaled Down

The de Havilland DH 82 Tiger Moth is a 1930s biplane designed by Geoffrey de Havilland and was originally used by the RAF. It remained in service until 1952 but since then, and like the cars of that period, it has become a much loved and restored object, frequently to be seen at air shows.

This example was made for a former Air New Zealand pilot, now the owner of a Tiger Moth. He fully restored the vintage aircraft, keeps it in a shed on his property and gives it plenty of flying hours.
