The new Zealand company Mitton ElectroNet provides electrical design and specialist services to the power industry. This project involved the making of a model of the concrete foundations through which nearly 250 ducts channel electric cables to a switchroom.
The main part of this model was carried out in-house by a 3d printer at Mitton ElectroNet and my task was to make the foundation. The forms of the concrete and the plastic ducts when seen in isolation, have a pleasantly sculptural quality.
