Scaled Down

This charming Wellington villa which dates back to the early 20th Century is notable for its angled corner gable which presents a jaunty facade to the street.   A small veranda is enclosed with a combination of clear and coloured glass and the Victorian character of the house is further underlined with its decorative wooden fretwork beneath the gables.

Located a stone’s throw from Wellington Harbour in Petone, the house, like many in the area, fits snugly into its plot of land with neighbours’ fences close by on either side.
